China Aluminum Industry Monthly Prosperity Index Report

In April, the prosperity index of China's aluminum smelting industry was 58.8, a drop of 0.9 points from the previous month, and was at the upper part of the "normal" range; the leading composite index was 87.3, an increase of 2.2 points from the previous month. The prosperity index of China's aluminum smelting industry in the past 13 months is shown in Table 1.

1. The prosperity index fell slightly within the normal range
In April, China's aluminum smelting industry prosperity index dropped 0.9 points to 58.8, still in the upper middle of the "normal" range. The trend of the monthly prosperity index of China's aluminum smelting industry is shown in Figure 1.

It can be seen from the prosperity signal lights of China's aluminum smelting industry (see Table 2) that in April, among the 10 indicators that constitute the industrial prosperity index, LME aluminum settlement price, M2, total investment in aluminum smelting, power generation, main business income and aluminum products Six indicators, including the total export volume, are all in the "normal" range; three indicators, including the sales area of ??commercial housing, electrolytic aluminum production, and alumina production, are all in the "cool" range; the total profit indicator is in the "hot" range.

2. Leading composite index rises slightly
