Notice on Initiating Level II Emergency Response to Heavy Pollution Weather
The people's governments (management committees) of all counties (cities, districts) and the member units of the Municipal Heavy Pollution Weather Emergency Headquarters:
According to the regional emergency linkage requirements of the Provincial Heavy Pollution Weather Emergency Work Special Team Office, it is predicted that the weather conditions in our city will not be conducive to the spread of pollutants in the future. The Municipal Heavy Pollution Weather Emergency Headquarters decided to issue an orange warning of heavy pollution weather from 0:00 on November 16, 2022 , and at 0:00 on November 17, a level II emergency response to heavily polluted weather was initiated. Emergency response measures include:
1. Guidance measures for health protection
Prompt children, the elderly, and susceptible people to reduce or avoid outdoor activities; outdoor workers should take necessary protective measures. Primary and secondary schools and kindergartens will stop outdoor activities. Stop holding all kinds of large-scale mass outdoor activities. All medical and health institutions have set up outpatient clinics for related diseases, increased medical staff, and extended working hours.
2. Proactive Pollution Reduction Measures
Advocate the public to live a green life, save energy and reduce emissions, and try to travel by public transportation or electric vehicles. Advocate enterprises and institutions to adopt flexible working systems such as days off and off-peak commuting. Promote green consumption by the public, and minimize the use of paints, paints, and solvents containing volatile organic compounds. Enterprises and institutions that emit air pollutants should strengthen management and improve pollution control efficiency on the basis of meeting emission standards.
