Huang Rusheng, secretary of the Baise Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, introduced at a press conference held in Nanning, Guangxi on the 2nd that the scale of Baise's aluminum industry has reached 100 billion yuan (RMB, the same below). Promote high-end, intelligent and green aluminum industry.
Huang Rusheng introduced that in the past two decades, the GDP of Baise City has increased from 16.51 billion yuan in 2002 to 156.87 billion yuan in 2021, an increase of 8.5 times. The total industrial output value above the scale has increased by 23 times, and the Baise regional power grid has been built, and the national ecological aluminum industry demonstration base.
Baise City has achieved fruitful results in reform and opening up. The "Plan for Revitalization of the Old Revolutionary Areas of Zuoyoujiang" and Guangxi Baise Key Development and Opening Pilot Zone have been approved by the state. Longbang Port has been upgraded to an international port, and a number of open cooperation platforms have been accelerated. With the successful connection of the China-Europe freight train, the foreign trade has developed rapidly, and the total import and export trade volume has increased by 44 times.
Baise City is the "Aluminium Capital of China", and its prospective bauxite reserves exceed 1 billion tons, accounting for about a quarter of China's reserves.
