Dalat Economic Development Zone Promotes the Integrated Development of Coal, Electricity and Aluminum Industry

(Aluminium Network) In recent years Dalat economic development zone is based on the resource advantages and industrial base to create a high technology, high efficiency and modern aluminum industrial park which is based on circular economy; to revitalize traditional industries, establish an ecological industrial system and cultivate new energy for industry development.

At present, the development zone makes full use of the high alumina coal and fly ash resources in the adjacent mining areas and power plants; to develop electric energy industry and alumina, high purity aluminium, aluminium products fabrication and deep processing of other aluminum products through local resources; to extend aluminium and aluminum processing high value-added multi-product industry. Firstly,  utilization of high aluminum powder,  coal ash to produce alumina the raw material for aluminum smelting, extend downstream high value-added industrial chain and form the leading industry of coal, electricity, ash and aluminum recycling economy. Secondly, based on the current aluminium industry chain to develop industrial high purity aluminium, alumina, aluminium products and other deep processing aluminium products. Thirdly, through related industrial chains circulation in and out of the park to optimize the way of resource utilization,  promote energy conservation, emissions reduction and environmental protection.

According to the statistics Dalat economic development zone has built a total of 4.18 million kilowatts of electricity and a million tons of alumina, 420 thousand tons of high purity aluminium, 180 thousand tons production capacity of aluminum sheet and strip; 720 thousand tons of aluminum sheet and strip and 15 million square meters of corrosion foil projects are under construction.
